Cleo is built and run by Emma and Jason — two OSHC coordinators who've spent years inside an Exceeding-rated service doing the work themselves. Every program Cleo delivers is built personally, by us, from your service's data. We know the compliance load, the budget reality, and what makes a vacation care period actually work. Cleo exists so Educational Leaders and coordinators can spend less time planning, and more time with the children.
Co-founder
Emma has spent nearly two decades in early childhood and OSHC, starting with her Diploma in 2008 and working her way through every role on the floor — educator, assistant coordinator, educational leader, coordinator, 2IC. She's been through three Assessment and Ratings at a service that came out Exceeding in all seven quality areas. She's built and delivered more vacation care programs than she can count, and still gets a kick out of watching a well-designed activity land with a kid who didn't think they'd be into it. Outside work, she's in the garden or telling someone a ghost story.
Co-founder
Jason came to OSHC in 2016 after a decade running primary-age circus camps, and later a flying trapeze school with Emma. He's worked his way from Educator to Coordinator/Educational Leader, and obtained his diploma at the same Exceeding-rated service. With two A&Rs under his belt and five years of vacation care programs personally designed and run, he's spent his career turning “I like dinosaurs” or “I'm into Minecraft” into actual experiences children remember. Off the clock, he's into game design and medieval combat — both of which, surprisingly, come up in programming more often than you'd think.
